Tasting notes
Vibrant ruby with aromas of red currant, dried rose petal, roasted pepper, and fresh herbs. The palate is medium bodied with silky tannins, layers of raspberry, dark cherry, and a touch of smoke on the finish. Bright acidity gives it lift and length.
Food pairings
A thick cut ribeye, carne asada off the parrilla, or slow braised beef short ribs. This wine has the structure and depth to stand up to the heartiest cuts on the table.

Cellaring
Destemmed and fermented in macrobins before being pressed into neutral French oak barrels where it underwent malolactic fermentation and aged for 16 months. Filtered prior to bottling. SO2 added at bottling only at 25 ppm. No other fining agents used.
Harvested October 28, 2024 from Wheeler Vineyard in Sonoma Valley and bottled February 13, 2026. Cab Franc from Sonoma Valley tends toward elegance over power, and sixteen months in neutral French oak let that natural grace come through without interruption. Malolactic fermentation rounded out the acidity and added a creamy texture to the mid palate, complementing the variety's natural aromatic complexity. A wine that rewards patience in the glass.
